When Verizon launched Hum—a device and app designed to equip older cars with newer car features—consumers didn’t know what to make of it. We leaned into Hum’s real human benefits and presented it as the technology that empowers a safer, smarter, and more connected driving experience.
HUM TAKES THE DRAMA OUT OF DRIVING
To be honest, when we were tasked with turning Hum customer reviews into content, we weren’t exactly thrilled. But as we dug into what people were saying, we saw an opportunity to do something fun and authentic. The result was a campaign that celebrated satisfied Hum users by turning their matter-of-fact reviews into overdramatic theater.

People do amazing things with their cars. Driving Good was our way of shining a light on these everyday heroes, telling their stories, and demonstrating how Hum helps them stay on top of their car’s health, so they can keep on doing those amazing things.

With customers struggling to get their head around all of Hum’s features and benefits, we needed a way to provide people with a comprehensive look at the product while in store. We created a fun and engaging long-form film that demonstrated Hum’s usage and value in real world scenarios, with a healthy dose of humor.
